I dreamt that I married her
That I asked the perfect question and she gave the perfect answer
But in the dream, we didn’t know why
Why we found ourselves in that position
Why we felt compelled to continue regardless
It just felt right
It felt too fated to resist, against emotion that felt so raw
I wish I could live in my dreams
